NYSANA member receives Philippine Presidential Award-
Filipino-American Medical Incorporated (FAMI) is an organization that provides medical services to indigent populations in Asia. In December, NYSANA member, Niles D. Perlas CRNA, Founder and Chair of FAMI, will travel to the Philippine Islands to receive the prestigious Philippine Presidential Award in recognition of FAMI’s humanitarian medical missions for the past eight years. The ceremony was held on December 7, 2006, at a dinner in the Presidential Palace in Manila.
