Celebrate CRNA week with your peers at the Western District Educational Meeting at Russell's in Williamsville. The educational lecture is presented by Merck and focuses on Clinical Considerations in Neuromuscular Blockade, followed by a NYSANA Update.

Clinical Considerations in Neuromuscular Blockade
Management

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the importance of monitoring neuromuscular blockade and recovery
  • Review clinical data for neuromuscular blockade management

Speaker: Craig Lampe, MD is the Section Chief of Anesthesia at Covenant Health System and maintains a busy anesthesia private practice in the greater Lubbock, TX area. Dr. Lampe attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his anesthesia residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Lampe is board certified in the areas of Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. He has been published in various scientific journals
including, Anesthesiology News.

  • Explain the pending and current legislation in the state and issues that are pertinent to CRNAs in New York
  • Discuss the current House and Senate bills that directly affect New York CRNA practices
  • Identify means by which they can participate in their state association
