Special Meeting to Amend Quorum

To address the difficulty in obtaining the necessary membership participation to amend the Bylaws, the NY Not-for-Profit Law allows a one-time option to hold a special meeting of the membership, using a lower quorum threshold, in order to incorporate this lower membership quorum requirement in the Bylaws and bring the Bylaws in compliance with the Not-for-Profit Law.  All members are encouraged to participate. 

Proxy Voting Allowed

For those members who cannot attend, a Proxy Vote would provide the NYSANA President the authority to vote on your behalf to amend the membership quorum requirement in the Bylaws.  A digital form is available via the NYSANA website, login is required.
