NYSANA’s bylaws are the foundation of how we function as a professional association. After a comprehensive review with governance experts, including the AANA State Government Affairs Director, our parliamentarian, and our New York State Not-for-profit Law Legal Counsel, the board is proposing a set of modernized bylaws to ensure NYSANA can operate efficiently, transparently, and in full legal compliance.

We will hold a Virtual Town Hall on February 25, 2026 at 7:00PM to walk through these proposed changes and answer member questions. Members will vote to adopt at the Virtual Spring Meeting on May 2, 2026 or via proxy. Please watch your email for the proxy form, which will allow you to cast your vote in advance.
