The NYSANA Programs Committee sponsors two weekend meetings a year in the Spring and Fall. These meetings move around the state and include a range of current anesthesia topics. A great networking opportunity, students received discounted registration fees to attend. Click here to take a look at upcoming meetings.

In addition to the two state-sponsor meetings, the NYSANA Educational Districts also sponsor local events. These events are generally shorter--dinner or one day meetings--and are also a great networking and learning opportunity. Discounted registration for students is offered by the districts. Upcoming meetings can be found in our community calendar here

We know that traveling to attend a meeting can be tough for nurse anesthesia students. In order to alleviate that burden, NYSANA allocates up to $400 per program to subsidize student meeting attendance. The reimbursement may be used for expenses associated with the NYSANA spring or fall meeting. Please contact your program administrator for more information.

Student Liaison Committee

The Student Liaison Committee is comprised of student representative from every nurse anesthesia program in New York State and chaired by the Student Representative to the NYSANA Board of Directors.
