Advocacy Day

Advocacy Day is typically held in either April or May when our legislators are able to focus on individual pieces of legislation that have been introduced in the state. It is a day dedicated to making our voices known and asking for our legislators’ support. We traditionally gather at the Capitol in Albany, NY to meet with many of our legislators and their staff through the day, to speak about the issues facing our profession. We provide education about the CRNA profession, clarify any questions, and share why it’s important to pass pro-CRNA legislation.

Advocacy Days in 2022

Many legislative offices in Albany are still closed due to the pandemic. With important bills impacting CRNAs in both houses, we will continue to host a variety of different events, in person when possible and via zoom when necessary, to engage our representatives and make our voices known.
